| This free form cut quality Fire Agate cabochon measures 21 x 17 x 3 mm, weighs 12.75 carats, and has a predominately green pinfire display with some orange and purple colors mixed in around the edges. This gem refracts very well in most good lighting conditions and originates from Deer Creek, Arizona, known for quality fire agate gems that display vivid color variations. There is one small natural stress fracture on one end of this stone, which is visible under magnification, however the stone is very solid. This polished gemstone is ready for final jewelry setting or gemstone collection display. Photographs were taken indoors under lights and outdoors in sunlight while the gem was dry and to best display the internal fire. |
